Strimzi: running your Apache Kafka cluster on Kubernetes

Apache Kafka has emerged as a leading platform for building real-time data pipelines but operating such a distributed system at scale can be complex and tedious, and must address concerns such as scalability, elasticity, reliability, and resilience. Kubernetes eases the operational burden by addressing these concerns out-of-the-box. It seems that there are too many challenges for Apache Kafka to fall in love with Kubernetes but it’s where the Strimzi project comes to help. During this session, we’ll see how it can be true love and how it’s possible to leverage the AKS service for running an Apache Kafka workload with a few deployment steps.
